At first glance, it looks like a prominent wall. But after being moved, it is apparently a closet.

In this bedroom, it was difficult to determine whether it was the wall or cupboard. Almost all the walls in the bedroom area was 26.8 square meters, used to be built in cupboards. One example, as seen in this photo. In an enclosed, bedside cabinets in this, just like a wall that stands out. Once moved, the new look of clothes and other personal knacks, are stored there.
Wardrobe is made as high ceilings, so there is absolutely no wasted space, without use. The door is made with a sliding system, so that more efficient land. Door was made very simple design, without a handle. No wonder no one thought that was protruding wall cabinets. This simple design also makes the room appear more compact and neat.

Is it Sleep Light Important?

sleep-lightWhat is the function of sleep light on the bedside table? The answer for this question will determine whether we actually need such lights, or not.

Many people did not arrange their bedroom based on need, but because following trends, or imitate photos in magazines, books or the Internet. One example is the placement of light sleep. Perhaps you are one who have opinion, that the bedroom would feel incomplete if not decorated with bedside tables and sleep lamp to on it.

In fact, the people who put the lights to sleep, probably never use it. The reason is they always turn off all lights when sleeping. If so, what’s the point, right, to put the sleeping lamp?

Sleep light is usually made glowing dim. For those who could not sleep in darkness, the light is clearly useful. The light was not too bright, so it make the eyes more relaxed.

bedsideAre you kind of person who likes to have breakfast in bed? If so, you can make a bedside table that also functions replace breakfast tray. The design is not as complicated as we imagine, really.

One of the advantages of multifunctional furniture, in addition to efficient use of space, is practical. For people who like to breakfast or eat snacks, while relaxing in bed, breakfast tray is absolutely necessary. Certainly it can be very troublesome, to keep the breakfast tray in the room. But, it can be more impractical if we have to get to the kitchen, whenever required.

If so, it means you need a furniture that can accommodate this function. What if we take inspiration from the hotels?

For people who love to travel and staying in a hotel, probably familiar with this one table form. A bedside table that can also be a breakfast tray.

The design is similar to the C letter, is composed of three wooden boards, could also be made of plywood. The exact shape as can be seen in this photo. To be comfortable, adjust its size to the height of the bed, at least make the table 1 foot higher than the surface of the mattress. To help us move the table, fill the bottom with four small wheels.

The table in this photograph is made of plywood, measuring 12 x 10cm x 32 inches (LxWxH). In addition to the breakfast tray, you can also use it as a reading table. Cool, isn’t it?


Child Bedroom Design for the Beloved Little Princess

child-bedroomThe little owner of this sweet room is a fans of princess characters in fairy tales. No wonder when the room decor was created as the princess room.

As usual, the pink color is often become a choice for the daughter’s room. So does this child’s room. In accordance with the owner’s favorite, the room was created in the style of a princess themed.

Room width of 13.5 x 8 ft was filled with classical style furnitures, like in the princess palace. Bedside tables and cupboards plus ornate arched pillared bed with headboard. More cute with the addition of a canopy and mosquito net. Feels like in a princess’s bedroom, right?

The room also become more special with a ceiling display. Room ceiling was decorated with the wallpaper image. In accordance with the overall theme rooms, wallpaper theme is also a princess. There was a picture of palace and the fairies in there. If you watched closely, the furniture in these rooms are quite large, as in the teen room. Though the owner of this room is still 3.5 years old. Placement of large sized furniture is intentional by her parents. So this room can be use for a long time. So no need to frequently replace the furniture, at least until the room owner become a teenager.

Lighting and Wood Accessories to Make More Romantic Bedroom

downlightGeneral lighting, seems to be something that must exist in every room. In the bedroom, general lighting with low intensity can make the atmosphere become more romantic.

In simple words, general lighting can be interpreted as lighting designed to illuminate the whole room. Usually to meet these lighting functions, downlight lamp used in the center of the ceiling of the room. The intensity of light used is also relatively bright.

Walls Element Can Make Bedroom More Interesting

The size of the bedroom in this photo was 13 x 10 ft. The walls use soft foam material wrapped in cloth, so comfortable as backrest. Another function of this soft wall is as a replacement for headboard, which generally using board or wood. The walls that was Commonly called as padded wall has a width of 6 ft 7 inches and 8 ft high, up to the ceiling.

At the top of the wall there are ceilings gaps, 8 inches higher than the room ceiling. On that gap, a soft lamp was placed to illuminate soft light. Luminescence of light creates a soft ambience in the bedroom. Also supported by floral wallpaper choices. Become more charming.

At the center of the foam walls are wood framed mirror. Applications are also found in the mirror the other side of the bedroom wall. The function of the mirror was to create the illusion of space, from initially narrow, become more spacious. Utilization of the mirror also makes it more attractive rooms.
