The main requirement for the bathroom floor is a material with rough surfaces or abrasive in order to reduce the risk of slipping. Especially, if the users are children or old people.
Generally, the bathroom floor using textured ceramic, stone, or andesite. Are there any other material which is better?
Another option is a rubber floor, also known as rubber. Elastic and soft character makes it more friendly to the feet. It was even softer and warmer than linoleum or vinyl.
Though soft, this material is usually equipped with a sort of layer of wax which makes it safe from scratches. If torn, the layer would able to restore the surface to the original condition. This is one advantage compared with linoleum or vinyl which are not scratch resistant.
Rubber floor sold in tile and sheet form, with a variety of color options. Starting from primary colors like red, yellow and blue, to pastels and black. Normally, this product has a round object pattern on its surface. This pattern was functioned as anti-skid. But there are also other patterns such as line and texture that resembles a row of stone.
Whatever your choice, all types of rubber has the same function. If not too happy with how it looks, try to matching it with other materials, such as coral. The important thing is that your family can safely use the bathroom.
