A Welcome Break with Mr Rogers

We are so blessed to have a PBS station that still airs Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood every day, Monday through Friday. Not only do the kids enjoy the half hour of quiet fun with Mr. Rogers but so do I!
After the frantic pace of other children’s shows, when this show starts the kids sit back and watch Mr. Rogers intently, quietly and with total absorption. I am always amazed at the difference in the way they act while this show is on, they don’t talk, don’t get up and run around, they sit there, glued to every moment of the show. It’s a welcome break, a time of quiet and learning for my family. We just relax and enter the Neighborhood with Mr. Rogers right there on our direct tv las vegas.
