Coffee Table

Family room was not complete without a coffee table, such as vegetables less salt. How important is that role?
Actually there is another name for the coffee table, low table usually placed in front of the couch. People also knew him as a cocktail table. But, indeed the world already knew him as a coffee table (coffee table). Of course this is related to the habit which is done in house, sitting relaxed with his family over a cup of coffee.
First made in England around the 18th century, coffee table designed to conform to the use of the sofa began to bloom. Previously, table and chairs dining table should more popular because of the habit of drinking tea together in the afternoon. Due to the increasingly popular sofa and a little Japanese style brought to England in the 1870s, coffee table spread throughout the world.
Until now, the coffee table has undergone many changes in line with advances in technology and the times. In fact, this coffee table is believed to create an atmosphere more intimate to the point that there is idiom “Gather round the coffee table.”
Based on history, no wonder if the coffee table was always identified with the family room. Not just useful as a desk to put a cup of coffee or a book, the table is capable of uniting the whole family.
