Colors and Children Emotion

Color and children are two inseparable elements. Since the babies, children already know the color. It has been proven, they are more like primary-colored toys such as red, blue, and yellow color than the pastels.
Some psychologists such as Hemphill in 1996, Lang in 1993, and Mahnke in 1996, has been doing research on color and its relation to children’s emotions. The result, they admit there is a relationship between the colors with children’s emotions, although there are some things that are still doubtful.
Doubt they are based on the different human cultures on a color. In America for example, red or encouraging votes aggressiveness. While in China, red symbolizes celebration and luck, and calming effect. However, there is a universal effect that occurs in the world due to the use of color.
Color & Interior

Therefore, be careful in choosing colors for children, especially in spaces which are often occupied by children such as bedrooms, bathroom, playroom and study room. Green: relaxed, quiet, natural, calming and seemed shy. Too much green, will make children become lazy, so to neutralize be combined with red or orange.
Orange: confident, friendly, full of joy. Orange in color can make a child’s room is always awake, so that should be combined with other colors. If too much orange, can make the room was dark, so it takes a lot of the incoming light.
Purple: can increase a child’s imagination and creativity. But too much purple can also create a mood of troubled children and cause children too want power.
Lilac: spiritual impressed. Do not use the lilac in the room the boys because it can evoke femininity. So as not to seem bland, match with black or silver.
